Lanes Closing Overnight On Providence Road In Media: PennDOT

PennDOT said utility construction work will force overnight lane closures on Providence Road in both directions this week.

MEDIA, PA — Utility construction will impact traffic on Providence Road in Media Borough this week, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, lane closures with flagging are planned on both directions of Providence Road Monday through Friday.

The closures will be in place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

The affected portion of Providence Road/Route 252 between Rose Tree Road and State Road in Upper Providence Township and Media Borough.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through and near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
