As the Emmy Award titles suggest, "Mare" was a limited series. But HBO's other mega-hit series "White Lotus" was also billed as a limited series. "White Lotus" is entering its fourth season.

With a new season could also come an economic boon for the area. When "Task" season 2 was announced, Pennsylvania officials touted its production is expected to inject $194.1 million into the state and local economy. This would come from direct expenditures, creating and supporting more than 3,700 Pennsylvania jobs.

It's unclear if a second "Mare" season will actually happen, but if it does, resident should expect to see more Hollywood-style production in and around Delaware County and the surrounding areas.

The first season filmed in Wissahickon Valley Park, West Chester, Coatesville, and more local spots.

And 2025's "Task," which starred Mark Ruffalo as FBI agent Tom Brandis investigating a string of drug house robberies, filmed all over Delco. Shooting took place in Ridley, Aston, Chadds Ford, Edgmont, the Delaware County Courthouse in Media, and Wissahickon Valley Park.
