Phillie Phanatic To Join Media Little League Fan Bus Send-Off Rally
Media's Little League team last week advanced in the Little League World Series and will compete in the quarterfinal round Wednesday.
MEDIA, PA — As Media's Little League Team enters the quarterfinal round of the U.S. Little League World Series championship, Delaware County is looking to send friends and family of the team off with fanfare.
The team will play the Needville, Texas team at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Williamsport after they were crowned the Mid-Atlantic champions Friday in defeating the Northwest D.C. team.
But before friends and family head to Williamsport, Delaware County is hosting a send-off pep rally for the fans.

The event will be held at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at Media Borough Hall.
To help see the fans off, the Phillie Phanatic will join the event at 1:30 p.m.

Buses will leave for Williamsport at 2 p.m.
Should Media win Wednesday, this is what a hypothetical schedule would look like:
- Vs. Midwest, Friday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. on ESPN
- Vs. winner of West and Great Lakes, Monday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. on ESPN 2
- Semifinals on Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 3 p.m. on ESPN
- USA Championship on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. on ABC
- World Championship on Sunday, Aug. 27 at 3 p.m. on ABC
Wednesday's game will air at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
