Providence Road Closing Through Early December In Media: PennDOT

PECO work will force Providence Road to close weekdays through early December in Media Borough, according to PennDOT.

MEDIA, PA — PennDOT said PECO work will impact traffic on Providence Road/Route 252 in Media through early December.

According to PennDOT, from Monday, Oct. 28 through Monday, Dec. 2, Providence Road will be closed on weekdays to accommodate PECO work.

The road will be closed from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. weekdays between Worrall Street and Locust Lane.

During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Baltimore Pike, Manchester Avenue, and Wallingford Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
