Riddle Hospital Keeps 'A' Safety Grade From Healthcare Watchdog Group
The Leapfrog Group issued its latest hospital safety grades, and Riddle Hospital has kept is stellar record since fall 2020.
MEDIA, PA β One of the Delaware County's busiest healthcare facilities has earned its sixth perfect safety grade in a row from an independent nonprofit health care watchdog.
The Leapfrog Group issued its newest health safety grades for hospitals around the nation.
And Main Line Health's Riddle Hospital earned its sixth "A" grade in a row.

Leapfrog gave Lankenau an A in its spring 2023 ranks, maintaining the A grade since fall 2020.
"We are honored to be recognized across all four of our acute care hospitals with this top grade of A," Jack Lynch, CEO and president of Main Line Health, said Wednesday. "The prestigious recognition belongs to each-and-every one of our Main Line Health staff members who provide safe, high-quality, and equitable care on a daily basis."

Main Line Health's three other facilities β Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, and Paoli Hospital β all also earned A grades.
Riddle was ranked "better than average" in numerous healthcare factors, including sepsis infections after surgery, accidental cuts and tears, communications, and safe medication administration.
However, Leapfrog said Riddle ranked "worse than average" for dangerous blood clots, handwashing, and MRSA infections.
Leapfrog graded the facility a C in spring 2020.
