Series To Help Delco Seniors Navigate Digital Healthcare Systems

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The Delaware County Health Department is hosting a special summer series prioritizing local seniors called "Navigating Our Healthcare System for Seniors."

Officials said the series aims to help seniors better use digital health systems as more healthcare management goes virtual.

"So many of us have seen firsthand how our older family members struggle with online health system portals," Lora Siegmann Werner, Delaware County Health Department Director, said. "DCHD staff members are truly looking forward to being of service at these sessions, helping Delaware County seniors request their Crozer medical records."

Below is the series schedule:

• Chester Senior Center, 721 Hayes St., Chester — June 25, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Good Neighbor Senior Center, 1085 Hook Road, Sharon Hill — June 18, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
• Upper Darby Senior Center, 326 Watkins Ave., Upper Darby — June 23, 10 a.m. to noon
• Access Center, 701 Booth St., Chester — June 24, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Schoolhouse Senior Center, 600 Swarthmore Ave., Folsom — July 15 and July 25, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Friendship Circle, 1515 Lansdowne Ave., Darby — July 11, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Surrey Media, 302 South Jackson St., Media — July 16, 10 a.m. to noon
