Teens Started Fire At Delco School: State Police

Two boys, 13 and 15, both from Clifton Heights, started a fire at the County Alternative High School in Media Monday, police said.

MEDIA, PA — Pennsylvania State Police said two young men started a fire at a Delaware County school this week.

On Monday, state troopers were called to the County Alternative School after getting a report of students starting a fire.

There, troopers learned two boys, 15 and 13 years old, lit a piece of paper on fire then threw it into a room while the school was occupied.

Police said the incident burned "school floor materials," and listed the value of those materials at $10.
