Tree Removal Work Closing Media Road Friday: PennDOT

Orange Street in Media and Upper Providence will be closed due to tree removal work Friday, PennDOT said. A detour will be in place.

MEDIA, PA — Tree removal work will impact traffic on Orange Street in Media and Upper Providence Friday, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, Orange Street will be closed and detoured between Kirk Lane and Centennial Avenue Friday.

The closure will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

ProTree Services will be removing trees along that stretch of road.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Orange Street, State Street/Baltimore Avenue, Ridley Creek Road, and Kirk Lane.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
