Annual Carnival in Bushkill Township to Start Wednesday
The four-night carnival will be full of food, rides, games, raffles, live entertainment and much, much more.

The Bushkill Township Volunteer Fire Company Annual Fundraiser Carnival -- whew -- will begin Wednesday, July 27 and will end Saturday, July 30.
The annual carnival, which will be held on fire company grounds at 155 Firehouse Lane, promises to offer plenty of rides, food, games, raffles and live music each night.
Goodtime Amusements will provide the kid-friendly carnival rides while the will provide the kid-friendly fire truck rides.

Here's the lowdown:
- For country music fans, the Tracy Lee Band will take the stage from 6-10pm Wednesday. In addition, there will be a $17 ride special during those same four hours.
- From 6-10pm Thursday, Mesa, a top 40s country band, will provide the live entertainment.
- For rock 'n' roll fans, The New Individuals will take the stage from 7-11pm Friday.
- Fireworks, which will be begin around 10-10:30pm, also will be on Friday. The rain date will be Saturday.
- And last but not least, from 7-11pm Saturday, Lucky 7 and the Casino Horns, a funk dance band, will perform. In addition, there will be a $17 ride special during those hours.
- There will also be plenty of food, including burgers, tacos, clams, steamers, cheesesteaks, sausage and pepper sandwiches, onion rings, French fries, pierogies, chicken fingers, roasted corn on the cob, pretzels, clam chowder, kettle corn, hot dogs, baked potatoes and fried shrimp.
- There will also be plenty of dessert, including assorted candies, cotton candy, ice cream and funnel cake.
