Chiavaroli to Continue 27-Year Run on Nazareth Council
Daniel Chiavaroli defeated Troy Keenhold by 76 votes in unofficial primary returns.

Longtime incumbent defeated fellow Democrat Troy Keenhold by 76 votes for the open "Ward 3" seat on Nazareth Borough Council. There were no Republican candidates, which makes Chiavaroli the de facto winner in November, too, unless a write-in campaign defeats him.
The seat has a four-year term.
According to unofficial results from Northampton County's elections office, 165 Democratic voters turned out for "Ward 3." Chiavaroli came in at 119 votes, Keenhold at 43, and there were 10 write-in votes, seven of them for unnamed Republicans.
