Chicken Coop Burns in Bushkill Township
The property on Filetown Road is for sale, so no chickens were inhabiting the burned coop.
Reports of a dwelling fire on Filetown Road in Bushkill Township around 4 p.m. today turned out to be a burning chicken coop.
According to Detective Randy Knauss from the Bushkill Township Police Department, the property at 395 Filetown Road is for sale, so no chickens or individuals were living at the location.
Fortunately, crews were able to put the fire out before it spread to a nearby barn and shed, Knauss said.
