Flash Flood in Effect Until Wednesday
Up to two-and-a-half inches of rain is expected in Northampton County.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Northampton County starting at 10 p.m. The watch will remain in effect through Wednesday afternoon, with up to two-and-a-half inches of rain expected.
The impact could be seen in small streams, poor drainage areas, urban areas and some roads, according to the advisory.
Large rivers are expected to be able to absorb the rainfall.

A low pressure system is expected to move into the area later tonight, bringing with it large amounts of rain in a very short period of time, according to the weather service. Rain will be heavy at times tonight and early Wednesday as the system moves to the northeast.
