Lightning May Have Caused Fire in Lower Nazareth

Lightning may be the cause behind a house fire in Lower Nazareth Township early Thursday morning, according to this WFMZ report.

The fire was reported around 2 a.m., according to the report, at a home in the 4600 block of Stafford Avenue in Lower Nazareth.

The homeowner told investigators a lightning strike caused a power surge, but the exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
