Nazareth Boro-Park Pool Rates Hold Steady in 2013

The pool at Nazareth Boro-Park will open on Saturday, May 25; rates will hold steady for the second-straight year.

Like clockwork, Nazareth is again getting ready for summer.

With the Nazareth Boro-Park pool expected to open May 25 for the Memorial Day weekend, Councilwoman Cynthia Werner made several motions Monday night to get the borough prepared for the new season.

Rates will hold steady for the second-straight year:
Juniors = 6-17 years
Senior Citizen = 62+ years

  • Daily, weekday passes - $6 for adults; $5 for senior citizens and juniors under 18; free for children under 5
  • Daily, weekend passes - $7 for adults; $6 for senior citizens and juniors under 18; free for children under 5
  • Weekdays and weekends after 4 p.m. (all ages) - $3 per day

Season Pass Rates:

  • Family Passes (two adults and two children) - $134
    *$10 charge per child over the limit of four family members
  • Adult Single - $60
  • Junior Single - $45
  • Senior Citizen - $45

The pool will be open from noon to 7 p.m. starting Saturday, May 25. It will be open weekends only—until school is out.

Nazareth Borough Council also approved a motion to set the summer recreation program rate at $150—again holding steady with 2012 rates.

Exact sign-up dates have yet to be determined, but will take place in May.
