Nazareth Looks to Fill Board, Commission Openings

There are 13 openings on various boards and commissions that the Borough of Nazareth is looking to fill.

Interested applicants must reside in the borough, and should submit a letter of interest that includes the following information:

• The commission or board they are willing to serve on;
• Their contact information;
• Any additional information that might help decide that the applicant is a right fit for a particular board or commission.

Board and Commission Openings:

• Planning Commission -- two openings, four-year terms
  Meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.

• Recreation Commission -- two openings, five-year terms
  Meets on the last Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

• Shade Tree Commission -- one opening, five-year term

• Civil Service Commission -- one opening, six-year term

• Zoning Hearing Board -- one opening, three-year term
  Meets -- as needed -- on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.

• Municipal Authority -- one opening, five-year term
  Meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.

• Library Board -- two openings, three-year terms
  Meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at

• Ambulance Board -- one opening, one-year term
  Meets on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at , 124 Belvidere St., Nazareth

• Vacancy Board -- one opening, one-year term
