Nazareth Wins District 11 Class AAAA Championship

stellar football team has won the District 11 Class AAAA championship, defeating Easton's Red Rovers 28-21 Saturday night.

The Rovers started the game fast with two touchdowns in the first quarter. The Blue Eagles landed their own touchdown late in the quarter to make the score 14-7 Easton.

In the second quarter Nazareth took control of the game, scoring two touchdowns while shutting down Easton to make it 21-14 Blue Eagles at the half.

Nazareth scored another touchdown in the third quarter to make it 28-14. Despite scoring another touchdown to make it 28-21, Easton was never able to get back in the game.

The Nazareth will face La Salle College High School in the PIAA quarterfinals at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Area School District Stadium.
