Oh Thank Heaven, It's Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven

Wednesday is July 11, or 7/11 depending on how you write it. Why is that significant? Because it's been really hot, it's summer, and it's 7-Eleven Day. That means free Slurpees for all!

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., you can get a 7.11 ounce Slurpee, free of charge, at participating locations. Help celebrate 85 years of the frosty treat by enjoying one yourself. The chain also has a link to a free printable birthday hat on its Facebook page that you can use to celebrate the anniversary.
