Nazareth Police convinced a man to climb off a power structure Friday after he had climbed 100 feet up.

Nazareth Police convinced a distraught man to climb off a 200-foot high-voltage tower after the man had gotten nearly halfway up, according to The Express Times.

The report states that police responded to a call just before 9 p.m. Friday about a man acting strangely near Phoenix and Spring Streets. Once there, they found the man on the tower.

The article reports that the man told police his child recently died at birth, and he suspected the mother of the child of cheating on him. After 10 minutes on the tower, he climbed down and was taken to St. Luke's St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill.
