3 Thieves Hit Home Depots 38 Times, Stole $50K In Goods: Montco DA
The group repeatedly stole pressure washers, air conditioners, battery starter kits, vacuum cleaners, and chainsaws, the DA said.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Three men have been arrested after stealing more than $50,000 in merchandise during 38 thefts from Home Depot stores around the greater Philadelphia region, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced Friday.
Balvin Greene, 32, Terrell Jackson, 39, and Kristopher Heard, 38, all of Philadelphia, have been charged with multiple felonies.
Thefts began on May 18 and continued through Aug. 11 and covered dozens of stores in Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware and Philadelphia counties, the DA's office said.

The group specifically targeted "high value" goods like pressure washers, air conditioners, battery starter kits, vacuum cleaners, and battery chainsaws, officials said.
The men would simply walk out of the store without paying for the items, and then bring them to another person in Philadelphia who would resell the merchandise at local "porch sales," according to the DA.

Search warrants at the Philadelphia homes of the suspects led to the recovery of about $10,000 of the stolen goods, along with $2,000 in cash and illegal drugs, the DA said.
Jackson was released on $25,000 bail and Greene was released on $25,077 bail. Their preliminary hearings are set for Aug. 28.
Heard is being extradited from New Jersey and will be arraigned when he arrives in Montgomery County.
