Alleged MontCo-Philadelphia Burglar Waives Preliminary Hearing
Because Barnes did not contest his charges, he will be formally arraigned on August 28 in Montgomery County Court.

Edward W. Barnes, Jr., a Philadelphia man who has been charged with multiple burglaries in various municipalities in Montgomery county waived his preliminary hearing at the Blue Bell district court on July 12, according to The Ambler Gazette.

He was charged with having committed numerous night-time burglaries and many attempted burglaries over the past year and a half in Whitemarsh, Whitpain, Plymouth, and Conshohocken, as well as a more recent burglary in Northeast Philadelphia.
Court records indicate that the break-ins took place from March of 2012 to June of 2013, and the primary items taken were electronics and jewelry.
Because Barnes did not contest his charges, he will be formally arraigned on August 28 in Montgomery County Court.
