Armed Robbery Reported on East Main Street
A man was robbed at knifepoint Thursday evening, while in the kitchen of an apartment on the 200 block of East Main Street

Norristown Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a man at knifepoint while in the kitchen of his apartment on the 200 block of East Main Street Thursday evening.
Police initially responded to the 200 block of East Main Street on June 6 at 5:50 p.m., for a report of a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, the victim told police that while he was in the kitchen of his apartment, another man came in and robbed him of $400 at knifepoint.
The man then left through the front door and headed in an unknown direction, police said.

According to the police report, the man is described as a black male wearing a white t-shirt and green shorts, with dread locks and a birthmark or tattoo on the right side of his face. He reportedly goes by the name "Moon."
A female who also resides at the apartment told police that she had met "Moon" a week prior, while walking home from the Norristown Transportation Center, but she added that she barely knew him, the report states.

No other items were stolen, and the victim sustained no injuries.
