Assault Victim Left Naked and Unconscious in Street

Witnesses say some 10 or 12 men were kicking and beating the victim before police arrived.

According to a report from the , officers were dispatched to Elm and Willow streets at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Saturday, April, 7, for a report of an assault. Once on the scene, police located the victim on Willow Street across from Scott Alley.

The unidentified man was reportedly lying unconscious on the curb, wedged between the sidewalk and a 1999 Plymouth Voyager, completely naked except for a pair of socks. When he regained consciousness, the man allegedly refused to identify himself to police or explain what had happened to him.

Police report the victim was uncooperative with their investigation and would not answer any questions, saying only that he would "take care if it" in regards to the incident.

A witness at the scene reporte to police that approximately 10 to 12 men were kicking and beating the victim while two women looked on. The actors reportedly fled in different directions before police arrived on the scene.

The victim, who had visible cuts and scrapes on several parts of his body, was transported by Plymouth Ambulance and then flown by medevac to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP).
