Auditions Held This Weekend for Second-Annual Hymn Festival
Singers from the community are invited to join the Hymn Festival Choir by attending the rehearsals at the First Baptist Church of Norristown. Rehearsals will be held on Sunday, June 16 and Sunday, June 23 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The First Baptist Church of Norristown and the Music at Burnside Arts Program are welcoming members of the community to join the Hymn Festival Choir by attending rehearsals at the church this Sunday – and again on June 23 – from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Joining the singers for Sunday afternoon's concert will be the First Baptist Church of Norristown's Bell Choir.
Those who join the choir will perform during the Second-Annual Hymn Festival, scheduled for June 30 at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Norristown, located at 445 Burnside Avenue in West Norriton.

“Some of the best singers in our area sing in their church choirs, but you only get to hear them if you go to their church," said Ross Boerner, of the First Baptist Church. "This is a great opportunity to hear the best voices from many choirs coming together to perform the hymns you love.”
