Breast Cancer Survivor From Montco Encourages Early Screenings: Report
Tomika Bryant, of Montgomery County, was 40 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. That was close to a decade ago.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Local resident Tomika Bryant was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 40 years old nearly a decade ago.
Today, after being in remission following surgery and radiation treatment, the Montgomery County woman spends her time encouraging others to get breast cancer screenings since early detection is key for surviving the disease.
Bryant, who also makes gift baskets for woman going through breast cancer treatment, recently told her story to the team at CBS Philly.
