Bridgeport Child Struck by U-Haul
Police are investigating an accident in Bridgeport this morning where a child was injured after being struck by a U-Haul truck.
Reports came in via Twitter from @MontcoAlerts shortly before 10 a.m. this morning of a child who suffered a head injury after he was struck by a truck in Bridgeport. The child was reportedly taken medevac to a nearby hospital.
According to 6ABC Action News, the incident happened in the 1000 block of Ford Street and the truck that hit the child was a U-Haul rental truck.
The name and age of the child have not been released and his current condition is still unknown. Police are investigating the incident.
