Burglars Strike Pair of Businesses on Johnson Highway, Police Say
Both China Wok and Diva Nails were struck by burglars during the overnight hours between Sunday and Monday.

Norristown Police are investigating a pair of burglaries on the 700 block of East Johnson Highway that occurred during the overnight hours between Sunday and Monday.
Stacey Ho, owner of Diva Nails, contacted police shortly before 11 a.m. on Monday to report that someone had broken into her business and stolen $58 from the cash register and $150 from an adjacent file drawer, police said. The initial investigation indicated access to the business was gained by forced entry of the rear door, the report states.
While taking the burglary report, police were called to a neighboring business, China Wok, for another report of a burglary. Owner Qin Hong Zheng told police that he locked the doors and left for the night around 11 p.m. on Sunday, but upon his return on Monday morning, he noticed that the push bar on the rear door had been pried off, according to the report.

Zheng informed police that $800 was stolen from a file drawer located under the counter at the front of the store, the report states.
Police believe the same suspect struck both locations, as the report notes that the same type of entry was used at both locations, and cash was removed from both scenes.
