Child Porn Guilty Plea Leads To Prison Term For Montco Man
Stephen James Fibrizio, 42, of New Hanover Township, got sentenced by a Montgomery County judge to jail time for possessing child porn.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A state judge has sent a western Montgomery County man to prison after the defendant admitted he possessed child pornography.
Stephen James Fabrizio, 42, of the Gilbertsville section of New Hanover Township, was ordered to report to prison Monday to start beginning his term of nine to 23 months, which was imposed last month by Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Judge Thomas M. DelRicci, according to media reports and court records.
Fabrizio was charged in the spring of 2021 with various criminal counts relating to his possession of child pornography on his cellphone.

That March, investigators had received a tip that suspected child porn had been uploaded via Yahoo email account, and that the upload included videos depicting young children engaged in sex acts, some as young as 3 years old, according to a report in the Mercury newspaper.
Police said that the criminal activity took place between January and April 2021.

Authorities said that Fabrizio admitted during a police interview that he searched for, and downloaded, child pornography for a period of about one year, according to the Mercury's account.
Court records show that DelRicci imposed sentence on July 12 after the defendant entered a guilty plea to one felony count of child pornography.
In addition to the 9-to-23-month prison sentence, DelRicci also gave Fabrizio 3 years' probation, according to the criminal docket sheet in the case.
Other criminal counts were dismissed in exchange for the guilty plea.
DelRicci also ordered Fabrizio to comply with Megan's Law sex offender registration requirements, that he have no contact with minors, and that he undergoes sex offender supervision, according to court records.
Records show that Fabrizio was scheduled to begin serving out his jail sentence on Monday.
