Council to Conduct Public Hearing on Zoning Requests at Next Meeting

Norristown Municipal Council will hold a public hearing on zoning two zoning requests at their Tuesday, June 19 meeting.

Notice is hereby given that the Council Members of the Municipality of Norristown will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m. on the :

– Conditional Use Review for a property at 201 DeKalb Street owned by Philip W. Schettone. (Request made by Joan Reilly of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, 1727- 1729 Mount Vernon Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130.)

Joan Reilly is seeking conditional use approval from Municipal Council, in accordance with Section 320-183, signs, Zoning Article 33, page 10, to allow for a , in the T-C Town Center Zoning District. 

– Subdivision/Land Development for a property at 728 Astor Street & 301 West Oak Street owned by Oak & Astor, LLC. (Request made by Joel Sandoval, Oak and Astor LLC, 354 West Elm Street, Norristown, PA 19401.)

Joel Sandoval is requesting subdivision and land development approval to consolidate four parcels into one to convert a vacant industrial building into a retail grocery store and a restaurant with incidental storage space in the UDO II Zoning District.
