Council to Hold Public Hearing on Billboards Ordinance
Council is considering an ordinance regulating billboards in the municipality.

Norristown Municipal Council meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Norristown Municipal Hall, 235 E. Airy Street and there's a grab bag of topics on tonight's agenda.
Council will revisit proposed zoning changes to the former Kennedy-Kenrick High School site requested by Pottstown-based developer Hallman Retirement Neighborhoods and conduct a public hearing on a proposed billboards ordinance regulating billboard usage in the municipality. Other items of interest on the agenda include a rooming house ordinance, a zoo cooperation agreement and a resolution recognizing Norristown barbers.
Council will also approve a resolution promoting Norristown Police Officer Adam Schurr to Corporal and name recipients of the Paul Ginyard Memorial Awards.
