Council to Introduce 2012 Budget and Tax Rate Tonight

Norristown Municipal Council meets tonight at 6:30 p.m. at for the final council meeting of 2011. While the agenda is packed with quite a bit of business and a number of topics scheduled for discussion, the highlight of the evening will be the introduction of the 2012 budget and tax rate.

Also on the agenda are a motion to adopt the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) budget, a resolution adopting the , and discussions on police civil service rules, an amendment to the noise ordinance and proposed loading zones on DeKalb Street.
