Deli Drunkard from East Norriton Arrested at Whitpain Wawa, Police Say

Paul Hinderliter, 44, of East Norriton, was arrested April 30 for public drunkenness, police said. He allegedly tried to open the manager's office at Wawa.

A drunken 44-year-old East Norriton man was arrested last month after he tried to enter the manager's office at Wawa, Whitpain Township Police said.

Paul Hinderliter, 44, of the 2600 block of DeKalb Pike, East Norriton, was arrested April 30 for allegedly being drunk inside the Wawa at 1015 DeKalb Pike in Whitpain.

Police were called to Wawa shortly before midnight after Hinderliter tried to open the manager's office, police said.

When police arrived, Hinderliter was standing near the deli, visibly drunk, police said.

He was arrested, charged and later released, police said.
