Details on Boy Hit by Car Friday Morning

A 13-year-old boy is being treated at CHOP after being hit by a car early this morning on his way to school.

According to NBC10, the 13-year-old boy who was struck by a car at Stanbridge and West James streets in Norristown Friday morning is being treated for his injuries at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. His condition is currently unknown, but a witness told NBC10 that he is expected to be OK.

"He hit the windshield," Trish Celi told NBC10's Tim Furlong. "I held his hand and made sure he was okay." 

Other witnesses reportedly said the boy darted in front of the car that hit him.
