Dragon Boat Club Invites Community to ‘Winter Wonderland at Riverfront Park’
It will be a time for holiday cheer and helping locals who need it.
The Norristown Dragon Boat Club invites the community to ‘Winter Wonderland at Riverfront Park’ on Saturday, Dec. 7, with a reading of “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas” under Christmas lights, goodies to snack on, and more.
The wonderland, which will be held at Riverfront Park in Norristown from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. will also feature Christmas carols. Guests are encouraged to bring a chair if they wish to sit in one. Guests should please bring a nonperishable food item that will be collected and given to a Norristown food bank and a plate of cookies to share with others. It is the season of giving, after all!
There will be a mailbox for Santa for children who want to write a letter to him and put it in the box.
