DVRPC Funds Improvement Project for Norristown Transportation Center

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) Board met on Thursday to duscuss and award improvement grants for regional trail projects as well as several other so-called “early action” projects according to Plan Philly.

Among the grants approved by the board was a $104,000 for an intermodal study of the Norristown Transportation Center to improve access to the station. The project is being funded by the Federal Transit Administration.
