Eagles Will Battle Green Bay Packers In Opening Round Of Playoffs
Some four months and a brief lifetime ago after meeting in Brazil, the Birds and Packers will face off once again. Here's what to know.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Some four months after the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers battled in Brazil in the NFL's first ever game in South America, the two clubs will meet again on the national stage.
The Eagles will host the Packers in round one of the playoffs in south Philadelphia on Sunday, Jan. 12. Kickoff time is 4:30 p.m.
The 14-3 Birds secured the second seed in the NFC with their win over the Giants on Sunday.

The Packers lost the final two games of the regular season, ending up 11-6 and third in their division. But that record is partly misleading, as the Packers had one of the hardest schedules in the NFL and nearly all of their losses came to excellent teams: the Birds, and two losses apiece to their dominant division rivals, the 15-2 Lions and the 14-3 Vikings.
Those losses were almost all closely fought games, too: 34-29 to the Birds, 31-29 and and 27-25 to the Vikings, and 24-14 and 34-31 to the Lions.

The Eagles are four point favorites to win the opening round, according to Bet MGM.
The Birds rested their regulars in Sunday's win, and most look to be healthy heading into the playoffs. While the team has not yet made an official announcement on Jalen Hurts, who has been out for a few weeks now with a concussion, he did feature front and center on the team's playoff promotional graphic released Sunday, and most analysts believe he will be ready to play.
