Why Nurses Are The Big Draw At This New King Of Prussia Business

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Ear piercing can be a traumatic experience for some, perhaps no one more than the parents of a child who sneak off to do it somewhere unsavory. Or even worse, haphazardly on their own.

That was the thinking behind a new chain coming to the King of Prussia area, which employs trained nurses for all of its piercings.

"Ear piercing by nurses only and hypoallergenic earrings always for the young and the young at heart," is the motto of Rowan, located at 413 Mall Boulevard, at the intersection with W. DeKalb Pike.

The King of Prussia store is the chain's third in the greater Philadelphia area, after Suburban Square in Ardmore and the Cherry Hill Mall in New Jersey. It's their 72nd store in the United States.
