Einstein Medical Center Montgomery Earns Accreditation for Breast Program

The Breast Health Program at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery earned accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program of the American College of Surgeons, for its commitment to providing patients with the best possible care. The three-year accreditation is given to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance.

“Earning accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers is truly gratifying because it acknowledges the high quality care and dedication on the part of the physicians, nurses and staff at our Breast Health Program,” says Beth Duffy, Chief Operating Officer for Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.

Einstein Montgomery’s Breast Health Program offers the most advanced technologies, including digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis -- three-dimensional mammography which allow radiologists to see deeper and help find breast cancer earlier. One very important service the Program offers which differentiates it from other breast centers, is offering women who have had a questionable screening mammogram, additional screening on the very same day of service.

Additional services offered at Einstein Montgomery’s Breast Health Program include:

• Walk-in appointments for routine screening mammograms are available for women who have a physician prescription,
• Evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as Saturday morning hours are available for routine screening mammograms,
• Staff assist women coming to the Breast Health Program for the first time by obtaining prior images for those who have had a mammogram elsewhere but are choosing to have their breast health services at Einstein Montgomery’s Breast Health Program.
