Einstein Montgomery 'High Performing' In 2 U.S. News Categories

The latest Best Hospitals ranking from U.S. News are out. Here's what they had to say about Einstein.

EAST NORRITON, PA — Einstein Montgomery Medical Center is considered "high performing" in two specialty areas, according to the latest rankings and reviews of hospitals around the nation from U.S. News and World Report.

The 2021-22 Best Hospitals rankings, released Tuesday, rates the best overall hospitals as well as others that consistently deliver the best care.

Einstein Montgomery did not land on the best of Pennsylvania list, which was headed by Hospitals of the University of Pennsylvania-Penn Presbyterian.

However, Einstein did score high performing on both patient services and heart failure treatment, the outlet reports.

The hospital also received strong marks for providing equitable care to Black residents in the community, particularly in preventative care.

Nationally, for the sixth consecutive year, the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. claimed the No. 1 spot on the Best Hospitals Honor Roll, while Cleveland Clinic ranked No. 2, followed by UCLA Medical Center at No. 3.

To compile the rankings, U.S. News compared more than 4,750 medical centers nationwide in 15 specialties and 17 procedures and conditions including cardiology, neurology, geriatrics, orthopedics and more.

Einstein is located on 559 W. Germantown Pike in East Norriton.
