Election Day In Montgomery Co: Polling Place Changes, What To Know

NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County voters headed out to the polls on Election Day Tuesday, as officials urged residents to participate in local democracy.

While overall voter turnout is sure to be a far cry from the presidential election last year, there are still a number of crucial elections being held on the local level.

School board races are among the most hotly contested in Montgomery County, with potential radical shakeups on the line in districts like North Penn and Wissahickon. Four seats are up for grabs in both races.

Elsewhere, Lansdale, Ambler, Collegeville, and Conshohocken are among the county's iconic boroughs with mayoral elections.

There are also county-level and state races on the line, including judgeships and key seats on the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court.

Thousands already voted by mail in Montgomery County, while many others headed to the ballot box.
