Elections Results For Norristown Council Races

With most districts reporting, Norristown Patch is calling winners in the at-large and Wards 2 and 4 council races.

Elections tallies are trickling in from the Montgomery County Board of Elections and some local races are pretty much decided.

In the Ward 4 race between sitting Norristown Municipal Council Vice President Gary Simpson, a Democrat, and GOP challenger Joseph Epifanio, all the districts in Ward 4 have reported in. Simpson took 726 votes or 69.94% to Epifanio's 312 votes or 30.06%, makin Simpson the winner.

In the uncontested Ward 2 race, sitting Councilman Bill Caldwell was re-elected.

In the At-Large Council Seat race, with 83.33% reporting, Republican Troy Beane is trailing with 910 votes or 29.22% to Democrat Dwayne Royster's 2,204 or 70.78%, making Royster the winner.

We'll have Norristown School Board results soon, but at last count, with 25 of the 28 districts reporting or 89.29%, the Dems are still leading the GOP ticket by an average of 2%. See the breakdown below.
