When she and her family flee the wilds of suburban New Jersey under dubious circumstances, Kimberly is forced to reevaluate her life while contending with a hypochondriac mother, a rarely sober father and a scam-artist aunt. And on the eve of Kimberly’s 16th birthday, time is running out.
