FBI Searching for Suspect in Tuesday Bank Robbery

A white male suspect robbed the Wells Fargo at 340 S. 2nd Street in Philadelphia yesterday.

The Philadelphia Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the Wells Fargo Branch at 340 S. 2nd Street yesterday.

According to a release issued by the FBI, the subject entered the bank at approximately10:30 a.m. and presented a threatening demand note to a teller. After getting cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot and was last seen headed east on Pine Street.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, 5’4” tall, thin build, clean shaven, wearing a red Phillies baseball cap, sunglasses and a black “puffy” jacket. This suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police Department or the FBI at 215-418-4000. There may be a reward for information leading tothe suspect’s capture. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
