Fireworks Display Saved by Donation from Local Business
Norristown's Independence Day Celebration will now include an evening fireworks display, following an $8,000 donation from Valley Forge Casino and Resort.
Norristown's Indepence Day Celebration just got its boom back, as a local business has stepped up and made a donation to cover the costs of the annual fireworks display.
A press conference will be held at the Bandshell on Thursday at 11 a.m., where Valley Forge Casino and Resort will officially present Norristown with the additional $8,000 needed to sponsor the fireworks.
