Found in Norristown

Norristown folks must be getting forgetful because a few Good Samaritans have found things around town and would like to return them.

One of the perks of our new hyper-connected digital world is that it's easier than ever to throngs of people all over the place. That's especially helpful if you've found something and would like to get it back to its original owner.

As it just so happens, this weekend must have been a forgetful one for several Norristown residents who lost some things because a few good souls have posted notices to the web looking for the owners.

One Norristown Patch fan posted this notice to our Facebook page:

Speaking of missing dogs, someone posted this notice to Craigslist under the heading, "Found Yorkie Poo (Norritown)":

"I found this dog on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at around 5:00 PM on main street and ford, by the cleaners and metroPCS parking lot. He had a collar, but no tags. Please email me with the color of the collar and description of the dog. Sorry I don't have pictures. Thank you."

Also posted on Craigslist was a notice of a found bike under the heading, "Mountain Bike (Found) (Norristown)":

"I found this dumped along the side of the road. I'd like to return this to it's rightful owner. This bike is very distinctive, so if you describe it, consider this your lucky day."

If you or anyone you know is the owner of the terrier, contact the Montco SPCA in Conshohocken at 610-825-0111. If the yorkie poo or the bike sound familiar, follow the links to Craigslist and contact the posters.
