Police, fire and EMS are dealing with a serious multi-vehicle accident at Fourth and Depot streets in Bridgeport that has caused the road to be closed while authorities clear the scene.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety live incident feed, authorities responded to the scene shortly after 2 p.m. for the accident, which caused one vehicle involved to catch fire.

Few details are available at this time, but witnesses on the scene say several vehicles were stopped at a nearby traffic light on Fourth Street, when another vehicle headed west towards DeKalb Pike struck them from behind.

Gasoline is reportedly pouring into the street from one vehicle involved. Authorities are working to secure the scene.
