Girl Struck While Walking in Norristown
Police are investigating a vehicle that could have a connection to the incident.

A girl was hit by a car in Norristown and taken to a hospital this evening, according to Norristown police.
The girl was walking at Elm Street and West Markley Street Monday evening right before 9 p.m. when she was hit, according to The Times Herald.
Norristown police and the Plymouth Ambulance company arrived on scene and took the girl to Paoli Hospital; her condition was unclear.

Norristown resident Tiffany Henderson is said to have witnessed the accident. She said that an SUV backed up and dragged the girl before driving away. Blood was said to have been present on the pavement.
