Great Photos from the 2012 Pa. State Firemen's Parade

Norristown Patch was on the scene for the closing of the 133rd annual Firemen's Association of the State of Pennsylvania Convention – a grand spectacle of a parade throught the streets of Norristown featuring over 300 fire trucks and emergency vehicles, 16 bands and over a thousand firefighters dressed in their finest.

Yesterday, we invited our readers to upload photos from the parade and I promised to pick the best one and reward that talented photographer with a $10 gift card to Target. Well I've chosen my favorite – Norristown Patch reader Meghan Catagnus' shot of a future firefighter sitting curbside caught my eye and filled me with joy. Well done, Meghan.
