Heading to the Shore This Weekend? New Jersey Beaches Are Ready For You
New Jersey water quality and beach conditions are reoprtedly better than ever.

According to NewsWorks.org, New Jersey’s annual "State of the Shore" address, in which scientists and ocean experts rate the water quality and beach conditions of the local beaches, reports that "the Shore" is better than ever.
Kim Kosko, of the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium, told Newsworks that the unseasonably warm weather was a boon for Jersey beaches.
"Because of the mild winter, we had no weather that had a serious impact worse than a couple hurricanes and large storms," Kosko told NewsWorks. "But for the most part ... the beaches in New Jersey are really in great shape."

She said the water quality is excellent, the beaches are bigger and cleaner and “the environment and climate are overall better.”
New Jersey shore tourism accounts for $16 billion for the state.
