Hearing Scheduled For 14-Year-Old Who Assaulted Fellow Student

The boy will face a Montgomery County Judge Wendy Demchick-Alloy for allegedly hitting another 14-year-old student in the face with a 9-inch wrench.

According to , the 14-year-old who allegedly is scheduled to appear before Montgomery County Judge Wendy Demchick-Alloy next week to answer assault and other charges against him.

The incident happened on Friday, Dec. 2, just before 7:30 a.m. at the high school. It remains unclear what provoked the attack. The victim was flown to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for treatment, but the extent of his injuries have not yet been reported.

According to The Herald, the student being charged in the attack is curently being held at the Montgomery County Youth Center until the hearing.
