NORRISTOWN, PA — Zookeepers at the Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown are asking for the public's help in naming some of the newest members of their family.

Two new, male, Miniature highland cows arrived late last month and have "settled right into their new home."

"We’re asking you to help us in choosing the perfect monikers for these fluffy boys, who you can now see roaming their pen outside the Zoo’s barn," the zoo said.

Both cows are five months old, and while both are Miniature cows, they are of slightly different breeds: the brown cow is a Miniature Scottish Highland breed, while the spotted cow is a Miniature HighPark breed.

Elmwood shared a recent video of the pair settling into their new home.

Known for their gentle demeanors and strength, both breeds of the Miniature cow are native to Scotland.

At Elmood, you can visit the pair in the barn area.
